Description

From the inaugural year of the Roosevelt Dime series, this 1946-S DDO-007 documents a doubled die obverse on one of the first coins to bear John R. Sinnock's portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Light spread appears on the date, designer's initials (top to bottom), IN GOD WE TRUST, and base of bust — a hub doubling event that touched multiple obverse elements with subtle but confirmable extra thickness.
