Description
A close spread can be found on the date, IGWT, and slightly on the designer’s initials. Die Markers: Obverse: A short die gouge can be found above the left side of the 9 in the date. A die scratch runs ENE from the upper right side of the D in GOD. Reverse: None significant. Submitted By: Thomas McGowan Cross References: None known Obverse: Numerous horizontal and parallel die scratches can be found between GOD and the bottom of the chin. Reverse: A die scratch runs from north to south to the left of the leaves that can be found to the right of NIT in UNITED. Parallel die scratches run from SW to NE to the right of the leaves that can be found to the left of the ERICA in AMERICA. A short die scratch runs NE from the top of the I in PLURIBUS. Obverse:
