Representing a rare category of die variety that originates at the working hub level rather than the working die level, this 1943 Walking Liberty Half Dollar doubled working hub obverse displays medium spread on IN GOD WE TRUST — a doubling that was transmitted to every working die made from this hub and therefore to coins struck at all three mint facilities.
