Error
Description
A strong Class II spread towards the center shows on the date, lower gown, lower gown lines, ground details, sun rays, shoes, RTY of LIBERTY, branches, stars behind the head, the lines above and below the brazier, the lines on the right shoulder, and IGWT. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge (dot) in the field south of the left leg of the R in TRUST. Two die gouges (dots) in the field north of the back of the right shoe. Reverse: The reverse of this variety is a doubled die listed in the Wexler Doubled Die Files as 1936 50¢ WDDR-001. Half U-shaped die scratch on the eagle's left leg.
