The obverse features a youthful Liberty facing left wearing a radiate crown, designed after sculptor Anthony de Francisci's wife Teresa and the reverse displays a bald eagle perched on a rock above the word PEACE, with rays of sunlight. The final year of the original Peace Dollar series. Only Philadelphia and San Francisco produced coins. Struck in other, weighing 26.73 grams, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge.
