Eighth repunched mintmark from the Wexler Team for the 1934 Denver Lincoln Wheat Cent, WRPM-008 features multiple die stages accompanied by extensive die scratches dominating the obverse field. Numerous strong east-west die scratches cut through the motto IN GOD WE TRUST, with a distinctive inverted V-shape scratch pattern at WE — two converging lines meeting at a point above the letters, creating a chevron-like mark. These scratches, likely from aggressive die polishing or maintenance, serve as powerful supplementary diagnostics alongside the primary repunched mintmark.
