1904-O VAM-21 Doubled O & Profile, High O,Thread-Like Impression Discovered by Martin Field, October 1980. Revised 2013 by Kurt Johnson 21 III2 11 - C4f (Doubled O & Profile, High O, Threadlike Impression) (189) Obverse III2 11- Slightly Doubled top outside of O in Date with vertical polishing line at top, Slightly Doubled Profile from Hair down to Jaw. Faint oval threadlike Die impression above top left Cotton Leaf. (Obverse Die is used with both reverse Dies #1 and #2) Die marker- Line of raised dots at top of top right Cotton Leaf Reverse C4f- Slightly high III O Mint Mark. Die 1 Marker- Fine vertical Die scratch at upper middle of Eagle's left Wing near wreath tip. Die 2 Marker- Isolated polishing lines between middle and upper olive leaf clusters and polishing lines above left ribbon. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: VAM-21 Die Pair #1 and #2 were previously listed as VAM-11 Die Pair #1 and #2 respectively.
