Issued in 1903 for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. The obverse features a bust of President William McKinley facing left, while the reverse displays the denomination ONE DOLLAR surrounded by a wreath, with LOUISIANA PURCHASE EXPOSITION. Designed by Charles E. Barber. Struck in 90% gold, 10% copper, weighing 1.7 grams, 14.3 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #7483.
