1889-S VAM-10 Doubled Profile, S Set Right Discovered by Martin Field, July 1982. 10 III2 7 - C3e (Doubled Profile, S Set Right) (187) Obverse III2 7 - Nose, lips and chin profile slightly doubled. Reverse C3e - Mint mark upright and set slightly to right. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: The reverse of this coin is used in another marriage. Be sure the markers are correct on this coin. Check the hard gouges by the cap ribbon and cap/hair. Open the link to the PL coin below maybe to see the gouges on the cap ribbon and hair better.
