1887-P VAM-13 Doubled Stars, 7 in Denticles, Doubled Reverse Discovered by Hoyt Warren, January 1976. Revised Bill Van Note, November 1998. 13(revised) III2 13 · C3b (Doubled Stars, 7 in Denticles, Doubled Reverse) (190) Obverse III2 13– First four stars on right and first two stars on left doubled at bottom with first two on right showing strong shifts. Very slight doubling on top of 7. Slight doubling on designer’s initials and lower hair. Top of 7 showing in denticles as raised curved bar in denticle space below second 8 and short raised vertical bar in adjacent denticle space to left. Possible 7 in denticles. Reverse C3b - Doubled STATES OF AMERICA, right star and some outer edges of right wreath leaves towards rim.
