1887-O VAM-22 Doubled Eyelid and Stars Discovered by Jeff Oxman, October 1984. 22(revised)III218 · C3a (Doubled Eyelid and Stars) (181) Obverse III218– Bottom edge of Liberty head eyelid doubled along entire length. All left stars doubled towards rim. Lower cotton leaf slightly doubled on left edge. DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: If there is pitting on the reverse, the coin is an 1887-O VAM-22A. The 1887-O VAM-22, 1887-O VAM-22A & 1887-O VAM-22B were all produced but the exact same pair of dies.
