1886-P VAM-10 Doubled 18 Discovered by Ted Eiben, June 1972. 10 III2 10 - C3a (Doubled 18) Obverse III2 10 - 18 in date doubled. 1 doubled well below as a thin line. First 8 doubled at bottom and right side of lower loop as a thin line. High 6 in date. '''DPIS - Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: '''Comments: The images in the 3rd and 4th editions don't really do justice to the repunched 1 (according to John Roberts). The repunching is faint, but the first punch had a serious tilt, as is demonstrated in Roberts' photo below.
