Description
1880-S VAM-26 Doubled 880 Discovered by Leonard Hinckley, February 1974. 26 III2 18 ∙ C3a (Doubled 880) (184) Obverse III2 18 – Doubled 880 in date. First 8 is doubled at bottom and has die chip between loops on left side. Second 8 sightly doubled at lower left outside of upper loop. 0 doubled at top left and right outside and slightly at lower left and right outside. Reverse C3a – Normal die with medium IV S mint mark. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: #obverse is shared with 1880-S VAM-31,1880-S VAM-32,& 1880-S VAM-51 #MAY BE DUPLICATE OF VAM 51
