Description
1879-O VAM-20 Doubled 87 Discovered by Martin Field, November 1978. 20 III2 7 ∙ C3a (Doubled 87) (176) Obverse III2 7 – Doubled 187 in date. 1 slightly tripled below upper crossbar. 8 doubled at lower right outside of lower loop and slightly at top inside of upper loop. 7 doubled on right side and slightly at bottom of crossbar. All left stars slightly tripled to sextupled towards rim. 1-3 right stars slightly doubled towards rim. Lower hair over polished. Reverse C3a – Oval medium mint mark centered and upright. Normal die.
