2009 Atypical Die Clash ADC-1c-2009(PW)-01
Error
Description
ADC-1c-2009(PW)-01 Here is the first noted example we have seen of a 2009 PW (Presidency in Washington D.C.) clash eddies Lincoln cent. There are strong clash marks from the reverse design showing in front of, behind and on Lincoln’s head. We see parts of the capitol dome, scaffolding, and rigging on the rooftop. Bays from the facade cross across Lincoln’s cheek, nose and around the fields of the nose. Some of the arched entry ways from the lower level of the capitol can be seen in the hair. West of Lincoln’s head we see part of the roof outline and windows. A piece of the N from CENT appears from Lincoln’s forehead. On the reverse you can see part of the outline of Y from LIBERTY above the left rooftop.
