Description
ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-50 This 1960D small date Lincoln cent shows two clash events. The first event, is the roof line under the 1 digit in the date, with the reciprocal die clash on the reverse die. The red arrow points to the die clash mark on the obverse, while the white arrows indicate a rather large die scratch from Lincoln’s chin, slanted upwards, towards the rim. Also seen is the clash mark left by the bottom line of Lincoln’s bust through the word STATES. However, the reciprocal clash mark on the obverse is missing.
