Description
ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-45 While the mint workers were able to eradicate the clash marks left by the word STATES under Lincoln’s bust, they missed the clash mark left by the letter D in UNTIED on the 1960D small date Lincoln cent. The reverse die shows the clash mark left by the bottom of Lincoln’s bust through the word STATES. This clashed die can be recognized by the following die markers. A die chip in the B of LIBERTY. A heavy die scratch from the bottom of the B in LIBERTY into the field. A minor RPM is seen on the mintmark.
