Description
ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-40 This 1960D small date Lincoln cent underwent at least three clash events. The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when they did clash during the strongest of the three events. The picture below shows evidence of the two clash events to the north. The E of ONE can be seen clashed below the O of GOD, while the C of CENT has dual clash marks under the W of WE. The E of CENT is seen in between the words WE and TRUST. The overlays provide show the different positions of the dies when they did clash. The final clash, which occurred to the south, shows the letters of STATES clashed below Lincoln’s bust.
