ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-13 This is a tilted die clash found on a 1960D small date Lincoln cent. The two prominent letters seen on this die clash are the ES of STATES, located under the bust of Lincoln.The overlay shows the relative position of the dies when they clashed. 3 4 / 1 A close up of the actual clash marks left by the ES of STATES. The “bar” is seen through the word STATES. The overlay shows the position of the dies when they did meet. The above image shows the faint clash mark left by the Memorial building roof (white arrow) and a die crack from the 1 digit to the 9 digit in the date (black arrow).
