Doubling to the S on Zitkala-Sa's chin, left braid, left glass tube beads, third through fifth diamonds, the bird's beak, and the bird's left wing. Tripling on the chin.Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge above the LG in the designer's initials JGF. Small die gouge right of the D in GOD. Small die gouge above the O in GOD. Die gouge left of the I in LIBERTY. Die gouge SE of the bottom corner of the Y in LIBERTY. Reverse: Two strong NE/SW die scratches below the fourth diamond. Thin die scratches extend NW from the bird to the E in STATES. Small die gouge above the right side of the H in AUTHOR. Two die gouges above the M in COMPOSER. Die gouge below the right side of the Z in ZITKALA. Two die gouges above the right side of the hyphen in ZITKALA-SA. Small die gouge below the M in UNUM.
