Description

Doubling shows above the right end of the upper grass strip between the great egret and the great blue heron. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: None significant. Obverse Stage B: Large die chips on the base of the bust left and right of the designer's initials. Die gouge between the A and T in STATES. Stage B die gouge may or may not be present in earlier stages. Reverse Stage A: None significant. Reverse Stage B: Die chip under the heron's eye. Die gouge between blades of grass above the great egret. Stage B die gouge may or may not be present in earlier stages.
