Description

Another entry in the extensive catalog of window doublings on the 2015 Homestead National Park Quarter, DDR-047 shows light southward spread within window L2 — the same left-column middle window affected by DDR-012, but with a different displacement direction from a separate working die. VarietyVista tracked this die under UVC-2148 with die marker reference DMR-048, recording both reverse and obverse at early die state in Stage A, with mid-die and late die states unconfirmed. Distinguishing DDR-047 from DDR-012 requires noting the spread direction: DDR-012 displaces eastward while DDR-047 displaces southward, reflecting different hub-to-die alignment errors during their respective hubbing events.
