Die markers at Stage B identify the obverse at MDS with a developing die crack visible in Kennedy's lower neck extending into the field, a progressive structural failure originating at the transition between the high-relief portrait and the lower field area where striking forces concentrate. The reverse at MDS shows a long, almost vertical die scratch to the right of the eagle's left wing, providing a linear authentication marker independent of the trail die features themselves.
