This design shows Lincoln standing before the Illinois State Capitol in Springfield, representing his years as a lawyer and legislator. On this proof strike from San Francisco, DDR-001 displays medium spread combined with light hubbing in the North direction, manifesting as an extra index finger on the standing Lincoln figure. The doubled finger is a distinctive diagnostic: the secondary image creates a ghost digit adjacent to the primary, visible under moderate magnification against the proof coin's mirror fields.
