Jumping from the early catalog entries to number seven, CU-25c-2006P-07R(CO) reflects the breadth of die failures on the 2006 Philadelphia Mint Colorado State Quarter. The gap between -02R and -07R indicates that catalog numbers 03 through 06 were assigned to additional cuds from different die pairs — each representing a separately discovered rim failure with its own fracture geometry. By the seventh documented cud, the Colorado quarter had established itself as one of the more prolific sources of rim die breaks in the State Quarters Program. Norman E.
