Description

Denver's 1924 Lincoln Wheat Cent production yielded at least one documented cud, cataloged as CU-1C-1924D-01 — the first recorded rim fracture for this date and mint. The 1924 (D) cent occupies a middle position in the Wheat Cent series chronology, struck fifteen years into the design's run and well before the high-mintage years of the late 1930s and 1940s.
