The CU-25c-2002P-01(LA) Rim Cud is a cud error, a type of major die break at the rim where a piece of the die broke away, creating a raised featureless blob at the edge of the coin. This variety was discovered on the 2002 (P) Louisiana State Quarter, part of the State Quarters 1999-2008 series.
