Showing doubling on the lower left side of the seventh Memorial column, specifically to the right of the Lincoln statue's legs, this 2000 Lincoln cent WDDR-015 was attributed by the Wexler Team as 2000 1¢ WDDR-015 with no additional cross-references. Frank Gasparro's Memorial reverse positions the small Lincoln statue between columns 6 and 7, creating a zone where hub misalignment produces doubling that interacts with both the architectural columns and the statue's form. The column and statue overlap area requires careful distinction between the vertical fluting of the column and the vertical lines of the statue's body, making this variety an exercise in precise observation. Obverse die markers include a short vertical die scratch between the lower S and T in TRUST. The reverse carries a small die gouge appearing as a dot to the left of the left cornice, plus a short die crack running SE from the top right point of the roof. These markers collectively identify the specific die pair and provide confirmation points that survive even on moderately circulated specimens. The year 2000 Philadelphia cent, produced without a mintmark, had a substantial mintage of 5.50 billion pieces, one of the highest production years in the denomination's history.
