1996-D Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-008

Description

A spread to the west shows on the upper right side of the statue’s legs. Doubling also shows on the right side of the 6th Memorial column to the left of the statue. Die Markers: Obverse: A small die gouge can be found below and between the B and E of LIBERTY. A short, vertical die scratch can be found to the left of the upper W in WE. A die gouge can be found in the field well north of the 19 in the date. Reverse: A vertical die scratch can be found to the left of the T in UNITED. A die gouge can be found above the end of the right Memorial base. Two short, vertical die gouges can be found to the right of the lower T in CENT. A small die gouge touches the bottom left side of the T in CENT. A die gouge can be found to the left of the upper E in CENT. A die gouge can be found above the right end of the bottom horizontal crossbar of the E in ONE. Obverse:
