1995P-1DER-001WS Trail Die Reverse
Error
Description
Holding the inaugural catalog position for 1995-P trail die reverses, this Lincoln Memorial Cent exhibits light fluting line extension into the stylobate under columns 2 and 3, plus light step deviation under columns 5, 6, 7, and 8, offset direction 200 degrees. Die markers: Stage C, obverse is LDS — two die gouges below I of IN. Reverse is LDS — two die gouges above left base tip. The LDS classification indicates substantial production wear, and the dual-area trail effect spanning both stylobate and steps shows lateral die displacement affected multiple horizontal architectural elements simultaneously. Struck at Philadelphia in copper-plated zinc (2.5 g, 19.05 mm), the WS wide step designation classifies this as a variety where trail effects manifest in the Memorial's step lines.
