Authorized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the United Service Organizations, founded in 1941 to provide morale and recreational services to U.S. The obverse features a USO banner with six stars, celebrating the organization's 50th anniversary, while the reverse displays an eagle perched atop a globe, holding a ribbon inscribed 'USO' in its beak. Designed by Robert Lamb/John Mercanti. Struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, weighing 26.73 grams, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #9658.
