Description

Notable for its complex cross-reference history, WRPM-002 on the 1986-D Lincoln Memorial cent currently has no known cross-references to other attribution services. It was originally cross-referenced to CONECA's RPM #6, but that cross-reference was determined to be incorrect — the coin originally attributed as CONECA RPM #6 was later delisted and re-listed under a different number, a situation addressed in detail under WRPM-004's documentation. For collectors, older references linking WRPM-002 to CONECA RPM #6 should be disregarded in favor of current catalog assignments. The absence of confirmed cross-references means WRPM-002 stands as a Wexler-only attribution, though the variety's existence is not in question — only its correspondence to listings in other systems remains unresolved.
