Error
Description
A light spread toward the center shows on the letters around the rim. The strongest doubling shows at ONE DIME. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: NE/SW die scratch between the T of LIBERTY and the rim. SW die scratch from the left fork of the Y (center) to the T (below center) in LIBERTY. NE/SW die scratches through the lower area of the 6 in the date. Series of die scratches SSW from the eye. Obverse Stage B: Stage A markers still present. Reverse Stage A: Light die scratch south from the tip of the olive branch to the right inside center of the N of ONE. Series of light die scratches north from the right upper oak leaf. Reverse Stage B: Stage A markers still present. Die crack from the right lower area of the torch base SE to the left center of the M in DIME. Die crack from the rim at 5:00 running NW through the left inside of the M in DIME.
