The repunching direction of D/D/D North, North indicates that the mintmark punch was applied three times with each successive impression landing slightly above the intended final position, leaving traces of the earlier strikes visible beneath or alongside the primary mintmark. This variety is tracked under UVC-773 with a single die marriage record, DMR-010, and three documented die stages that trace the working die from its earliest known impressions through advanced deterioration.
