Sharing the same light spread on E PLURIBUS UNUM and AMERICA as DDR-007 but originating from a completely different working die, DDR-011 on the 1956 Philadelphia Jefferson Nickel is identifiable through die markers UVC-928 and DMR-015. The distinction between DDR-007 (UVC-924/DMR-011) and DDR-011 (UVC-928/DMR-015) underscores a fundamental principle of doubled die variety collecting: identical doubling text does not mean identical varieties, because each working die is a unique physical object with its own hub impression characteristics and die markers. UVC-928's sequential proximity to UVC-924 suggests these dies were documented in close succession, though they may have been manufactured at different times during the 1956 production run.
