Description
D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse: NW/SE die scratches throughout the fields and design. Strong NW/SE die scratch from the neck to the 3 in the date. NE/SW die scratches through the RTY in LIBERTY. Die gouge in front of the nose. Die gouge above the 3 in the date. Reverse: Die clash remnants through the olive branch. Crisscrossing die scratches overlapping the clash from attempts to remove the marks. Die scratch extends S from the first T in STATES. Many curving die scratches between OF AMERICA and the oak branch. N/S die scratch between the E in EPU and the dot. Long die gouges between the NE and below the N in ONE. Die gouge above the I in DIME. Die gouge near the rim between the F in OF and the first A in AMERICA.
