Description
A half dollar from the San Francisco Mint, the 1952 (S) Franklin Half Dollar belongs to the Franklin Half Dollars 1948-1963 series. With a mintage of 5.5 million, this is a less common issue — the lowest mintage among 3 mint variants, representing only 11% of total production. The obverse features Benjamin Franklin facing right and the reverse displays the Liberty Bell. Three-mint production continued. The 1952-S is a common date but scarce with Full Bell Lines.
