Description
D/D Tilted (Rotated)Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die clash at the throat. W by N/E by S die scratch at the upper right of the D of GOD. N/S die scratches behind the lower area of the head. Very weak east by north die crack above the V of the designer’s initials. Obverse Stage B: Die clash still present. Die scratches are weaker. Longer die crack above and to the right of the designer’s initials. NW/SE die crack on the lower back of the jacket. Reverse Stage A: E/W die scratches through and below the second U in PLURIBUS. Light SE die scratches from the lower right side of the A in STATES to the left center of the last A in AMERICA. Reverse Stage B: Die scratches at PLURIBUS only show at the upper and lower area of the second U. Die chips at the lower right area of the T in CENT.
