The 1947 Roosevelt Dime, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, is part of the Roosevelt Silver Dimes 1946-1964 collection. The U.S. Mint produced 121.5 million examples, making this the highest mintage among 3 variants, accounting for 60% of the year's production. The obverse features Franklin D. Roosevelt facing left, honoring the president who championed the March of Dimes and the reverse displays a torch flanked by olive and oak branches, symbolizing liberty, peace, and strength.
