Description
The 1946-S Repunched Mintmark RPM-002 exhibits a repunched mintmark where the steel punch was applied more than once to the working die, leaving visible traces of the initial placement. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, Die markers: UVC-351 DMR-004 Stage A: Reverse and Obverse are EDS Stage B: Vertical die scratch above Right balcony – MDS Die scratch from chin to collar – MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). S/S West. MMS-002 (Trumpet Tail).
