Description
Produced at the Denver Mint, the 1945 (D) Philippine Ten Centavos D/D Allen-9.05a is part of the Philippines Ten Centavos 1903-1945 series. The obverse features a male figure seated beside a hammer and anvil and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield. Produced during World War II, when the Mint altered coin compositions to conserve strategic metals for the war effort.
