1944-D Repunched Mintmark RPM-003

Description

The 1944-D Repunched Mintmark RPM-003 shows mintmark repunching evidence from the hand-punching process used at the Philadelphia Mint to apply branch mint letters to working dies. This Jefferson nickel was struck at the Denver Mint, composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel, weighing 5.0 grams.
