Description

The 1944-D Repunched Mintmark RPM-001 bears a repunched mintmark created when the engraver struck the mintmark punch into the die face at least twice, with the second impression slightly offset from the first. This Jefferson nickel was struck at the Denver Mint, composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel, weighing 5.0 grams.
