Description

Listed as DDR-013 with attribution codes UVC-0249 and DMR-026, this 1942 Washington quarter exhibits medium hub-doubling spread concentrated on STATES OF AMERICA on the reverse. The doubling is most apparent on the letter forms, where secondary images create visible thickening or notching along the edges of the affected text. Two confirmed die stages document the progression of this die: Stage B at mid-die state and Stage C at late die state, showing that the die remained in service long enough to exhibit measurable wear progression.
