Light separation lines show on the right wheat. Die Markers: Obverse: A series of swirling die scratches show behind the truncation of Lincoln’s bust. Strong, concentric die scratches show at the rim above IN and GOD in the motto and below Lincoln’s bust. A vertical die scratch runs north from the upper L in LIBERTY. A diagonal die scratch shows to the right of Lincoln’s eye. A series of diagonal die scratches show between the letters RUS in TRUST. Reverse: An area of die damage shows to the NW of the C in CENT. Areas of die damage show at both intersections of the vertical and horizontal crossbars of the E in ONE. A die gouge (dot) shows along the SW edge of the O in OF. A die gouge (dot) shows well below the B in PLURIBUS.
