Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingClass II doubling shows on E PLURIBUS UNUM. Die Markers: Obverse: Die crack at top of Jefferson's head. Reverse: Die scratches near rim below UNITED STATES; slanted die scratch between T and S of CENTS. Possible S/S South. Cross-referenced as Wexler Variety ID: 1940-S WDDR-008.
