Description
S/S/S North & South Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Large mint mark . Die scratch from the 1 of the date south to the vest. N/S die scratch connects the upper and lower ends of the 9 in the date. Both secondary mint marks are strong. Obverse Stage B: Both north and south secondary mint marks are present but weaker to the north. Obverse Stage C: The north secondary mint mark is abraded away and the south secondary mint mark is weak. Reverse Stage A: N/S die scratch centered between the upper area of the second U and the M of UNUM. Reverse Stage B: Die chip left center of the P in PLURIBUS. Reverse Stage C: Die scratch north from the left upper area of the M of UNUM.
