1921-S VAM-1AY Scribbling Die Scratches #8 1AY IV1 - D2a (Scribbling Die Scratches #8) (189) Reverse D2a- Fine die scratches in various directions on over polished tail feathers around eagle’s right leg and between eagle’s left wing and body. Die Marker- Long vertical polishing line in middle of eagle's left outer feathers near inner feathers. Also has faint diagonal die gouge through 2nd U in UNUM. DPIS – In 1921 dates were part of the master die so there is no variation in position. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: This coin is known with a filled S mint mark.
