Part of the Philippines Centavos 1903-1945 series, the 1920 (S) Philippine Centavo is a centavo coin from the San Francisco Mint. The obverse features a male figure seated beside a hammer and anvil and the reverse displays an eagle above a shield, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Minted during and after World War I, as America emerged as a global power and experienced the prosperity of the Roaring Twenties.
