Description

The 1915-S WRPM-002 is a repunched mintmark variety on the San Francisco Mint Buffalo Nickel, part of James Earle Fraser's iconic series produced from 1913 to 1938. The S mintmark on the reverse was punched into the working die at least twice, with the initial impression slightly offset from its final position, leaving visible remnants of the earlier placement.
